In this new era of water shortages/cuts, I am amazed on my working travels that all the swimming pools are at correct level and working, or am I noticing a new type off magical pool that never evaporates or needs filling.

Water evaporates from a swimming pool at roughly the same rate that it evaporates from the reservoirs, less so if they're covered, so it is not affecting the water shortage! There is a shortage of water full stop, not just in the treated state that it comes out the tap.

Hi Murf62, I appreciatte theres a water shortage, and of course it affects water shortage filling all the pools, thats the point I was making

I know that lots of people will resent those with pools if the water cuts continue. Even if by law they are filled / topped up by tanker it is still taking water "out of the taps" if it comes from the same resevoirs isn't it?
