Greek Music and Dancing

Postby Webbie » Wed Apr 20, 2005 8:04 pm

Didn't like the Greek music at first, until I saw the dancing! Amazing! Especially when young and old people alike are doing the traditional dancing!

I think you have to take your hat off to the younger generation of Cypriots for keeping up this tradition, when other countries have failed to do so. In some countries, it is considered uncool to do anything traditional, so traditions die out.

Do any of the Cypriots living abroad keep up the traditional dancing? You should, if you can because it is a true talent!!

I quote...

Talk about a waste of a thread, unbelievable.........like this makes any difference to anything?!?!

Some people need a serious reality check to bring them back to planet earth.

... seems to fit the bill here too...
