Strange match last night, the BLUE AND WHITE  Turkey got beaten by Portugal.

I guess they figured if we dress up as Greece then we might beat the Portugese as well.

Thats right the Euro nasties have began! Bring it on!

That's NOT blue...Its called Turquoise
Turkish Team has chosen that color on their away kits.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turquoise_(color)

turquoise
precious stone, 1567, replacement from M.Fr. of M.E. turkeis, turtogis (1398), from O.Fr. turqueise, fem. adj. "Turkish," in pierre turqueise "Turkish stone," so called because it was first brought to Europe from Turkestan or some other Turkish dominion (Sinai peninsula, according to one theory). Cognate with Sp. turquesa, M.L. (lapis) turchesius, M.Du. turcoys, Ger. türkis, Swed. turkos. As a color name, attested from 1853.

Turkey got beat really good last night. Turkey had very little going for them and no amount of uniform change was going to help them. It was a shame that some Turkish players were up to their old trick and were tying to win an Oscar for "play acting" in trying to get penalties. This is just another way of being "morally corrupted". I was sorry to see some players in trying to win a match, even if it meant being dishonest. I think referees should send any player off the field when they get caught in "play acting", and yes, re-play action footage should be used after the game to find dishonest players and suspend them from the very next game for their offences, if they are not caught while on the field.

I know that the "morally corrupt" knows no boundaries in football, no matter which country they represent.

Perhaps we will have Greece and Turkey in the finals, with each finishing the game with only 6 players on the field.

Yeah Turkey didnt look great last night but Portugal has been my tip for a little while to win the tournament. I thought the Turquoise colour came from the Grey Wolves flag which i've seen - Turquoise back ground with a white wolves head in the centre - wouldnt surprise me if it was that.

Has anyone seen the Greece squad??? Its the SAME PLAYERS as 4 years ago - and even then they were into their 30's!!! Why isnt Ninis from Panathinaikos in the squad? Is he injured? He's supposed to be shit-hot!
