IS WAR THE WAY FORWARD

Postby brother » Wed May 04, 2005 5:58 pm

Well after all these fanatical postings and rantings we have had recently, does anyone think the way forward is through war or can we achieve anything we want through talking.

This is a serious topic so i will appreciate all honest opinions however dark they might be.

War brings misery and torture to everyone involved, innocent people being killed, soldiers fighting against their wishes, families in fear of what can happen to their loved ones.

No, war is not the way forward. War achieves nothing but hatred to others.

I absolutely agree that war has proven over centuries is not the way forward but peace is the forward for all man kind.

We need tolerance and understanding, but the greatest task will be to control the fanatics of all sides, how will we achieve this is what i would like to hear ideas on.
