Taxi drivers to strike ?

Plans to introduce a bus service from airports has angered our friendly taxi drivers. It seems competition at long last is not popular among the ranks of black Mercedes drivers.

There is already a bus service from Larnaca airport. This must have to do with Paphos airport, then.

I think they are also thinking of a regular shuttle to Nicosia.

Air conditioned buses from Philoxenia hotel every 30 minutes for the airport. Free parking for your car at the Hotel college. We finally have our own Heathrow Express (only its buses not trains, and it takes 45 minutes not 15, and its 5 Euros not 12GBP)

The only problem with the buses will be that each one will be filled up with an extended family going to see one person off at the airport!
