I was not expecting any other response from neither you laptachap, nor ttoli, other than that you all checked with Nicosia and you are on pre-'74 Turkish land ... that seems to be the standard answer amongst most of the Brits holidaying / living in their "own" properties in the north, IMHO.

Here was ttoli's use of what I believe is the recommended "standard issue response" on another thread....

But it was actually very straight forward to check with the 'authorities' in Nicosia that the land was indeed Turkish pre '74.

Now perhaps you will both go onto that other forum and bitch about what a nasty piece of work I am, and perhaps you should all collude to change the wording to your excuses slightly ....
