Cyprus champion Anorthosis Famagusta signed Greece defender Traianos Dellas to a two-year contract on Thursday.

The club announced the signing on its Web site after the 32-year-old Dellas quit AEK Athens by "mutual consent" on Wednesday. No financial details were disclosed.

Dellas was a key member in the Greek team that won the 2004 European Championship. He has also played at Sheffield United in England and at Italian clubs Perugia and Roma, before spending three seasons at AEK from 2005.

Wouldnt call 32 veteran just yet. I think he moved to Cyprus a bit prematurly. In modern football, players in there 30's should still be fit enough to play to a good standard. Saying that tho, he is a bit of a lump.
