Hi Flighty.

I'm a 33 yr old British guy also living in Larnaca. It is VERY difficult making friends on the Island, especially ones that you can relate to on certain issues.

If you fancy meeting up for a coffee or a drink, would be nice to meet somebody new.......

Thats as long as it doesn't result into a Glasgow kiss :)

Have you really tried? Some people who emigrate to Cyprus treat it just like the UK but with sun. I'm sure if you make the effort to integrate into the society, you'd make friends more easily. Personally, when I move to Cyprus in a couple of years, one of my major priorities will be to escape from my fellow Brits, whose inane attachment to boozing bores me senseless... much rather sit down for a meze followed by some raucous dancing to zeimbekiko than have a pint, followed by a limp kebab and a fight...

Just read the link. Never knew that it offended people from Scotland, but now I can see why.

Just want to apologise to Flighty, and anybody else that found that comment offensive.
