Erm... not really. A 'traoullos' is a ram - a male goat. I can't think of a Greek name for a moose. I'll try to find out and let you know.

A moose in greek is 'tarandos' re isnt it?

but still 'traoullos sto tenekoui' sounds funnier
Oh and something else tarandos is many times used for 'pezevegkis' or 'keratas' which means ur wife is sleeping with another man

Still, I'm pretty confident that 'tarandos' is reindeer (which is what Rudolph was, non?). I still haven't been able to find out what the Greeks call a moose.

Yes you are right.I just found the translation in greek and its "ελάφι alces americana". I guess its just a species of deer that there is no direct translation to greek.

I just asked a friend how he would say moose or elk and he came up with "elafi".............. ????

Elafi = deer in greek.
They are all a species of deers anyway so i guess mooses wouldnt mind too much if we call them deers
