Eurovision - battle of the babes?

both cyprus's and greece's songs are quite catchy but im not sure they got what it takes to make it to eurovision (aside from 6 other same-speaking countries as the case with the slavs and former USSR countries :))

and i still cant understand WHY THE HELL IS ISRAEL PART OF EUROVISION

Yer but has n't Cyprus been taking part for years but only joined the EU officially last year?

Eurovision also has Lebanon... still, if you look at it in purely geographic terms... would Cyprus be included? :shock:

Anyway, back to the theme of this thread... does anyone think Ruslana will be wearing pants for the event... some pretty shocking pictures of her performing 'commando' on the web... :lol:
