You intelligent people, got anything more constructive and of more value to the rest of (wo)mankind than play these computer games?

I used to indulge in a little of the original ping-pong game and got a little hooked on pacman but never understood the appeal of these damned gory, violence glorifying, shoot 'em up computer games.

Really forumers, do something worthwhile like...er.......posting on internet forums! .....

Todays games can't really be compared to pac-man bill!!!

The games that are coming out for the 360 and PS3 are just astounding. It takes these companies years and years and years to make just one game. A lot of money and effort goes into them. Plus it's not just about pointing and shooting, but appreciating the hard work thats gone into this interactive work of art...

The best part about it is that Xbox Live lets you have conversations with millions of people all over the world whilst playing these games through it's headset which plugs into the controller. Basically you go into an online game and it puts you into a lobby where you can chat with everyone whos about to play that game with you. It's like being in a conference call on your mobile, where you can hear and speak to multiple people.

I've got so many friends all over the world who I've never met but we speak and play games on a daily basis through Xbox....It's a lot like the forum in a way, only instead of arguing about Cyprob we're playing games, and instead of typing we're speaking through our headsets.
