I would say the bulk of them are in kyrenia but unless you stay in them you never know for sure as the old saying go's "never judge a book by its cover" also tourism starved for so many years i guess they also go out of there way to make the stay as good as possible.

yes kyrenia did seem like the only place remotely close to a developING city.

I would suggest you do a google search and more than enough will pop up, out of respect for my GC brothers i would not want to unwittingly promote a disputed hotel that may belong to a GC, i hope you understand.

As per Brothers post I did not reply publicaly out of respect for the admins wishes that the forum is not used to publicaly promote tourism in the north that may involve the use of property that was GC pre 74 (and I am NOT saying that is not now GC btw)

No becasue this is not a 'poiltical' thread but just an equiry from one forum memebers to tohers and I am trying to both help the other forum member and avoid upsetting peoples sensibilites and the admins wishes and not be poltical all at the same time, and to be honest your post has not helped me in my efforts to do this.

well if you wanted to avoid political-ness i dont see why you mentioned what you did in the parentheses?

Because in the past people have accused me of saying that GC no longer own this land or have rights over it simply because I desribe it as being GC land pre 74. In the past merely describing the land as being 'GC pre 74' has led to accusations that this is proof that I now think the TRNC or TC legaly own this land without any further discussion and that I wish to legimitse what happend in 74 and want to steal from GC - and that is not what I say or mean.
