A friend of mine recently had her purse stolen from her handbag whilst out shopping in the supermarket!
Apparently there are two 'gangs' - two girls and two boys working in conjunction.

So ladies please, keep your handbag zipped/closed at all times and keep it in your sights. My friend was left very shocked, penniless and also had to go through the hassle and inconvenience of canceling/renewing all of her cards
