What's changed is that property in the north will be even more difficult to sell and if you own a place in the UK as well you may lose it. You will need even more cash from Turkey to prop up your "false economy", I'm not sure how much help you will get from the mainland, apparently unemployment went up from 9% to 10% in one month! Your chickens are coming home to roost. Take a look at the creeps on 44 North Cyprus, they seem pretty worried - thieving bastards.

Yes I have VP , I know the Brits better than you ever will . Lost a very good customer a couple of years back when I called him a cheapskate , for the only reason he was buying in Kyrenia was that he couldn't afford to buy in the ROC. He didn't give a shit if he was buying stolen land provided it was cheap. Back of the lorry sort of thing if you know what I mean say no more nudge nudge !!

What if they dont have property in the UK, most have sold up to buy in the TRNC, convert the balance into YTL earn 22% living a comfortable life without lifting a finger. As for the buyers, havent you heard they are no longer Brits but Isrealis and your good friends Russians, we have even had Iranians show up now and buy land. People are flexible and adapt to change if the ruling goes in favor of the GCs then people will sell up their propertiesin the Uk nad bring the money to the TRNC.
