Believe me Smiffy, you definitely DON'T want to work outside in the sun. It is absolute murder with the sun draining away all your energy.

Fun but not easy I'd imagine is being some sort of holiday rep.......providing you have the gift of the gab.

I work as a fibre technition on the Electric Authorities power poles. Though its a good job, its physically very demanding, especially when its very sunny.

Can't be easy being a holiday rep - they must have permanent shite-eating grin on the their faces, because there is NO way anybody can actually enjoy meeting a bunch of greeting faced mutants who are upset because their flight was delayed, or their luggage late. :(

Let's not forget the screaming brats that some people insist on bring abroad! How inconsiderate for other holiday makers, bringing a screaming machine on an aeroplane!

Plus you have to deal with the legions of England-shirt, baseball-cap wearing chavs that stumble pissed down the stairs of the charter flights... can't imagine anything worse... dropped my wife off for her CY flight from Birmingham the other day, the airport was full of them off to Spain for the half-term holidays...

I fully subscribe to that one, speaking from 4 years experience...

BUT, as every job, it has its nice parts as well.

I always find it remarkable that my fellow Brits go abroad for holidays and end up spending the whole time in pubs and clubs and asleep for most of the day... why go abroad, just stay at home... uncivilised people...

Now you know why I plan to move to Cyprus, I hate my own country  ... let me rephrase, love the country, hate the people I have to share it with... :D

ah, come on, you can't put tem all in one box (is that the right expression???)
But I'd say the majority of those spending their holidays on Cyprus is like that.

Well, you will still meet enough of your people when living in Cyprus :-)

Thats why I like it - its not too many Germans there.
