Messages stay in your outbox 'til they are opened by recipients... so you may not have a problem.

I received a private message from a member asking about some details a week after I send him the details he needed. Obviously he did not get the the first PM. Please resolve the issue. Thank you.

The guy has registered here 2 weeks ago and has 2 posts and can send private messages, while I have registered here 5 years ago and have 32 messages and I can not send private messages. Why is that?

If there is no issue as you suggest this thread would not have existed, right?

I got a reply from the Admin saying what you said - the PMs stay in the Outbox until they are opened from the other side. So maybe everything is fine, although I still have a bunch of PMs in the outbox.

After I noticed the PMs not being sent for a week I did a search on the forum to see if anyone else has a similar issue. I found this thread and I figured there is a problem, since people here complain about not being able to send PMs and this being regulated somehow or dependent from how many posts a member has.

If there is no such policy in action it would be a good idea to remove this thread in order to avoid further confusion. Anyway - thank you for the quick response!
