I am currently in the UK, visited North Cyprus pre 1974 and also after, lived in Germany for 2 years and have travelled to various places in europe, and have come across many Turks, especially when I travelled to Turkey to watch my beloved footie team play against Galatasary. I have never in my life experienced such, filthy and Barbaric behaviour from any nation. We had bags full of urine & poo thrown at us, our fans attacked with unbelievable savegry (One being stabbed to death) with banners everywhere displaying "death to the English." From my past and sometimes present experience most English people if not, the majority that I have come across cannot stand Turks, it's the same in Germany and most other places I have visited. I read some of these forums and CANNOT Believe some of the Turkish comments I read. "poor Turks this, poor Turks that" Look at what you have done to other people such as the Kurds, was chemical weapons neccessary?, how about thr Genocide commited against the Armenians, The Missing prisoners in Cyprus, I can go on and on. You have a cheek!!! You forget one thing, You Invaded Cyprus, took it by force!!! and now you want to claim the North as yours? WHY??? how about historical Constantinople now called Instanbul. How about all the illegal immigrants entering the UK aided mainly by guess who? yes the Turks!!! I was in North Cyprus when it was lovely, went back recently on a quick visit and I hated it. I have never met an English person who likes a Turk!!! NORTH CYPRUS DOES NOT BELONG TO THE TURKS!!! NEITHER DOES UK, GERMANY OR ANYWHERE ELSE. get the Turks out of Britain!!!

It may whizz right over your fez, but a "Turkish Cypriot" is not a TC unless he fulfills certain criteria. Tantamount being; that he does not recognise the "trnc". Only Turkey recognises the "trnc", so only Turks recognise the "trnc".

If someone calls themselves "TC" and also say they recognise the "trnc", they are simply not in fact "TC"s but TURKS.

Therefore: all TCs do not NOT recognize the "trnc" ... only Turks!

Now I have an Original pre74 Cyprus Passport, TRNC Passport and British EU Passport.
To add to the complication I recognise both RoC and TRNC.
When will people stop imposing their will on others?

What you have to do is put yourself in Oracles and other GCs shoes.

They have had their homes lost and resettled with foreigners to Cyprus. Would you not also be as angry? If someone came and took your home away from you and kicked you out, would you be celebrating? Why should Oracle not be angry at Turks and Turkey? Just because they had behaved in a way which was to our disadvantage, does not mean a free for all. We could have (Cypriots that is; not Turkey or Greece) negotiated a proper deal, without outside interference. The way I see things is : Turkey, ' Kaş yapayım derken, göz çıkardı'. Turkey may have been justified at the time in 1974, to send her forces in, but the days of conquest has long been gone. Turkey has stopped Enosis, now Turkey should let us negotiate a peaceful solution.

Perhaps you remember the immortal words: Ne mümkün zülm ıle bidad ıle imha-yı Hürriyet...............vb. This does not only apply to Turkish speakers. It should apply to anyone.
