Demertiou - What you on about? I come onto this site looking for info and you talk about photos and trophies! Am I meant to do something about this? It seems that you are a very angry and troubled person. Have you tried therapy? Regarding your trophy. Should I inform Interpol of a thief hiding out somewhere in Greece?

  We believe him to be a confused and camp young man who just blabs on for the sake of it

Ignore him Pete... Demetriou is the forum's resident schizophrenic (in the non-medical sense)... I suggest you inform interpol that someone who maybe used to work for you ran off with a children's metal trophy and some steel medals... I'm sure they'll put him at the top of the most wanted list.

Demetriou - I feel your pain. Any more details? I could be on for an exclusive! I can see the headlines now! PEADAPHILE TAKES PICTURES OF YOUNG SWEETY CHILDREN. STEALS TROPHIES AND ESCAPES TO GREECE. At a recent 5-a-side football tournament, Yiannis Pseftis, a photographer for the local Greek-Cypriot newspaper, is alledged to have taken unsolicitated pictures of young boys who were dressed in skimpy shorts and vests. After approaching the winning team for some close-up shots, Pseftis took a liking to the boys trophies. Unbeknown to the youngters, Pseftis stole the trophies from the distraught boys. An all-points bullitan was put out with all airports and seaports put on full alert with Greece being the likely destination of the intrepid thief. Spokesman for the Metropolitan Police, Chief Superintendent Rob N. Steel said, "We beleive Mr Pseftis has already fled to Greece. We are liasing with Interpol on this matter." It should be noted that Pseftis is wanted in 6 countries across Europe for an assortment of crimes including thief of a bag of marshmellows in Switzerland while posing as a boy scout and stealing a copy of the Beano in Scotland while mingling with children from the local secondary school. Pseftis is deemed as dangerous and should not be approached. Any information should be reported to your nearest police station.

Yes Pete, we all have a good read of the Parikiaki in our household!

Isnt it that Mikkos guy doing the football write ups no more...heused to bug me, he was always biased towards Famagusta!

by the way, my brother had a short stint writing in Parikiaki about 10 years ago. He did a music review in the English section.

Mikkos now works for our deadly rivals at Eleftheria. I agree with you. It always used to be the Famagusta sports section with Mikkos. Don't worry, he hasn't changed his ways at the other paper!
