Computer advice needed

Postby mjd1947 » Sun Jun 05, 2005 5:32 pm

I will be flying to Cyprus this week to visit a friend and his partner, who have just moved out to Larnaca from England. They have asked me to help them to get a computer and get online during the course of my visit - they have little or no previous computer experience.
I am computer-literate, but have no knowledge of where to find a reliable computer supplier in the Larnaca area, or what dial-up service providers are available in Cyprus. Can anyone advise me?

Buy them a £500ish toshiba or Dell laptop in the UK and bring it to them. For ISP's there is a small list here.

Or google around for a more complete list.
