The Olympics are still 7 years away, and we could have asked the same about Athens... :P

Here's the planned Olympic Stadium

http://www.london2012.org/en/bid/sport+ ... tadium.htm

Here's the Olympic Park

http://www.london2012.org/en/bid/the+olympic+park/

Apparently it would be on a 500-acre site in east London, 7 minutes from central London on the underground (the extension of which is already being built to the site). Apparently the line could transport 240,000 an hour to the Olympic site...

i want paris to organize the olympics, especially now with the economic recession in france i think the french will push the IOC a lot to give the olympics to them......for 2016 it will be africa and 2020 south america.....what i am afraid is that the americans might cheat once again and take the olympics from paris.....and london isnt really the best city to organize olympics, its very expensive for visitors and definately not the safest city from all security aspects
