I hate Economics more than I hate Politics ... but it struck me that in this present climate of struggling economies, that the only way forward is to abandon old habits, for economically viable new ones. Much as you would in managing the household budget.

The biggest unnecessary drain on Western countries' resources are the arms industries.

Let us not revive factories which build weapons. Let them die.

When the present stockpiles are depleted ... we would have to stop killing each other

No Ray ... you are brainwashed. Arms and weapons are a drain on our economic resources.

Example: Costa Rica disarmed for some decades now ... easily one of the most comfortable Central American countries to dwell in.

But disarmament has to happen worldwide and it is part of Old World thinking which has led us to our present economic downfall. If we stopped spending on weapons, it stands to reason, we would have more money for schools, hospitals etc.

Then I propose that the two most economically impoverished western nations on Earth ... the USA and UK, should seek their economic recovery by abandoning their Old World habits of massive weapons compilations and huge Standing armies supplements and follow the path to TRUE Economic recovery by re-developing their educational system, hospitals and such like ...

As for Turkey ... she can go to hell .....

Pull us in mama. Have u any idea of how disarmament of world would be achieved according to the "Brain Team" of "New World Order"? It was even placed into Annan Plan, too but those blinded by national interests r not able to get it.

Do u still desire to torture every single Turk to tell u the "truth" that u suppose it would make u the happiest grandma of planet earth?

Yeah the type of disarmament proposed in the Annan plan was less about world peace and more about preparing the lamb for slaughter ... don't make me laugh . Disarmament has to come first from those belligerent nations that have proved beyond doubt they cannot be trusted with weapons ... and a prime example is Turkey.

I was watching a news debate today, apparently the USA gives Israel £10.000.000 a day!

Thats appalling, no wonder people are starving...they need to get their priorities straight!
