Can we have a vote on if you think there will be a solution to the Cyprus issue by the end of 2009.

I think not cos we've seen so little common ground in most areas and none at all on the property issue, so I remain pessimistic.

I said all along that we will and I still do. If we do not then the chance of peace afterwards will disappear. If there is no peace at the end of the year, the EU negotiations will be put on hold or at worst cancelled, then AKP will also lose just like CTP and then it’s all over. Generals will have their day once again.
You can kiss peace goodbye, piece by piece.

Do you think the losers will accept conditions of surrender though?

I voted yes, because both the leaders know this is the last chance or partition, so they will have to come to an amicable agreement.
