Why, because you want his money?

No , because in spite of all our " differences" on the political scene , unlike you , he has recognised that charity has no political connections and has made a very generous contribution to the fund.
The money that I entice from forumers does not end up in my pocket mate , you have insinuated that this is the case before so dont please try and annoy me , you know what happens when I get angry !!!

Yeah, you hit the bottle...

I hope that you have made a direct donation to the Home , being your preferred method as you state above.
Good old Sotos , anonymously without " bragging "about it . you have my respect !

Re Sotos. Sometimes things are better and worth more when we do them collectively, when we act as one. We're a Forum whose members love and respect eachother very much. We may have our minor differences occasionally and it helps us to bond with our fellow forumers when we act together, tissies, grissies, armens, pushtorossous, ex-pats etc.

Milti, without mentioning names, how are we doing? What's the total?

The grand total raised so far amounts to £ 802 ie EUROS @1.15 =922
Not bad for a very little effort.
May I also add that a T/C in the UK has pledged a donation , no specified amount mentioned , so the fund will surely exceed 1000 euros.

Some years back we on this forum raised money for a worthwile cause ; ince again i make an appeal ti all members, GR excluded, to make a small donation. I will pm any wishing to donate Ayios stephanos account data so that funds go direct to the home.
Even a tiny donation will bring a little joy to these dissadvantaged " children" most of us live in a reasonably comfortable life style, do please spare a thought for these " children".
I will speak to the director of the home and request that all funds go towards providing treats and not used for any other purpose.d
