Fridges/Freezers and Washing machines!!!

Can someone please explain to me that wherever I look in Cyprus there is a fridge/freezer or washing machine perched on a hill. How the hell did they get up there wouldn't it be easier to take them somewhere, than dragging them up a mountain!!!!

Good question - no matter how far you trek into the countryside you can bet someone has already been there and dumped an old cooker too...

Poor woman - she would be better off with one of those fridges that are dumped all over Cyprus

Especially near Pissouri - First thing I noticed when we moved there
