Is it a bit limited? Where abouts on the island is it? Where is the nearest coastal resort and how far away is it?

if you mean winter skiing ,well it is limited to the period when there is snow on the mountains(usually there is enough snow for at least two weeks). as far as i know they were planning to have an area with artificial snow(or whatever they call it-dont know the english terminology for these things),but i dont know if they have it ready yet.
the closest coastal resort should be more than 50-60min away,in this case i think it should be limassol.

trodos mountains i would say. more likely to go water-skiing

I always thought they should build a large dry ski slope on the sides of one of the mountains in Troodos... all year round skiing, followed by a trip down to the beach, sounds like a winner to me.

or maybe. a dry-slope sking thing that leads straight into water-skiing. has to be near a beach but i think i am onto something.
