I've just read on trip advisor that there have been a number of attacks on groups of tourists.
If this is true has anyone been arrested by the police and charged.

Just avoid the main tourist areas and you'll be fine.

Its much safer than most UK towns at 2am saturday and sunday morning.

If you want to stay safe don't tip 10 gallons of lager down your neck and stagger around the streets after midnight.

Just be cautious in Bar Street after 11, you should be fine. Generally, much safer than the UK.
