All I know is that if it is indeed JP Morgan, they wouldn't screw you around, their HR people would be happy to answer any questions you have.

JP Morgan is indeed one of the biggest banking and investment group, and there cannot be two JP Morgans, the name is too well known worldwide. As far as I know, in Cyprus there is UK-based JP Morgan operating, but it is better to check. Probably they need 'in-house' graphic designer for their own projects.
I never heard that the companies charge employees for applications' costs, usually all such expenses are covered by the company, and it is a bit strange that JP Morgan doesn't do it. But the companies' regulations may vary.

I'd also be surprised if a home-grown Cypriot company called itself JP Morgan... sounds too Anglo-Saxon. Plus they'd probably be the subject of a lawsuit rather quickly.

They would simply not be registered, the Registrar of Companies would most probably reject such application from not 'that' JP Morgan :)

JP Morgan tend to be a bit more protective of their image, particularly if the company is involved in the same industry... I doubt McDonalds cared if a fruit and veg shop was called that. My local butcher is called McDonalds and has been for years.
