Hotel Information in Paphos

Postby Susanna » Thu Jun 30, 2005 8:41 am

Hello, I will be visiting Cyprus in August with my husband and little daughter. Would like to stay in Paphos, in a hotel at a walking distance to downtown, beaches, museums, not far from archeological sites. Checked the ALOE and the CYPRIA MARIS. Anyone knows one of these hotels? Any recommendation? Cheers!

Hi, I myself do not know Paphos very well, but I gathered some info from a friend who knows at least Cypria Maris from the outside and the area:

The hotel belongs to the RIU group and looks quite nice from the outside. Its situated about 2 or 3 km from the harbor and has a bus stop in front of it. Its supposed to be a nice walk down to the harbour, either on the Poseidon Avenue or even better along the coast. No sandy beaches though, but these are anyway not to many in Paphos area.

Sorry, that I cant be of any better help. :-(

Hi Susanna, here you go with few bits of info on the Aloe:

The hotel is situated directly on the coastal road and there is a nice public sandy!! beach in front of it. My friend said its the nicest she has seen in Kato Paphos. Walkíng distance to the harbour about 10 minutes. Outside appearance of the hotel is fine.
