What has history got to do with it?

You took a beating today, now take it like a man.

BTW, the head to head record is very close.

Australia have won 31 series to England's 29. I'm sure we'll overtake you in the future!

37 runs 5 wickets, God blessed Cricket with a player like Stuart Broad, and England blesses the world with its GREAT team!

How about we talk about this century and more specifically today?

Wouldn't that be more relevant?

197 run win for a deciding Ashes Test match is quite a beating, don't you think?

Now what were you saying about being delusional?

Stuart Broad was brilliant. What a throw by Flintoff too to run out Ponting. Trott was also outstanding on his debut. Great day all round.

We have a young team too so hopefully more success will follow.

I was down by the riverside, when the chap next to me shouted out England had just won the Ashes and I blurted out "But I thought they were never going to win them back again" .... and I couldn't for the life of me think why I had that ingrained in my mind ... :?

Now I know!

Paphitis was brainwashing us with subliminal posts ....

As a Scottish neutral(?) I have to say the most influential figures in deciding the result of the Ashes were the umpires. Some of their decisions were a joke, and usually Australia suffered.
