Gc has evolved economically, tc has not.

and so because of this you feel that TCs are entitled to more land? if you can find official registries that show TCs owned 38% of the land pre-74 then I say keep the partition as it is. somehow though i dont think that is the case.

dont forget though that GCs evolved economically after a military invasion and occupation of their country which resulted in practically 150,000 refugees. Do you think that it costs nothing to build homes for these refugees?

And also just because your politicians tell you that the Annan plan was the only potential solution for solving the cyprus problem that is not the case. If TCs cared about their economic well being and their political voice as a minority they could have returned to the RoC and demanded their 1960 voice be heard. Don't forget the GCs got screwed over more than the TCs with the 1960 agreements.

Of course the puppet masters would never allow such a thing.

what are you talking about? i said partition not enosis. and for the million time just because TCs are completely and utterly dependent upon Turkey that is not the case with GCs and Greece. It's 2005. Two separate EU member states. Wake up.

Magic, GC have not power to resist Turkey, And TC have not power resist to Greece.

Both will be joined with main land.
Not geographically, but politically.

magikthrill, one reason for 25% percent, or somewhere near there, is that land is not just land. THere is fertile land, not so fertile land and rock. So really at the end of the day it would depend what kind of land (ie what part of the island) we are getting back. Also for example, nicosia, always had a turkish presence, and part of nicosia was always exclusivley turkish, so perhaps an arrangement on nicosia will also have to come into place.

again WRONG.

just like Greece has no power to resit Turkey either they seek to their EU refugee to smooth things out. Cyprus could do the same.

And why the hell would Greece give a rats ass about the TC state?

Do you realy think, enemity between Turkey and Greece will stop at that island?

If you can joined you have chance.
but If not, Both of tc and gc will fall under the hand of Greece and Turkey.

If one fall other will fall too.

Yes Greece has not power to resist Turkey too. But they have more power than you. And They are your protector. What do you think? EU realy protect you?

he cant even protect greece well.
