Sfakianakis Slams Political System Again!

Tuesday, November 15, 2011 Hellas Frappe

Singer Notis Sfakianakis, known for his outspoken political views, surprised Faye Skorda, host of the "To Proino Mou" show on MEGA channel yesterday when he began to once again took the opportunity to speak about the present economic and political crisis. Notis says that the "Boys from Boston" that are leading the country's two largest political parties were elevated to power to push the New World Order on us the people. He describes today's crisis as WWIII and says that the only way to exit this extraordinary crisis is to simply revolt. Sfakianakis forecasts that people will again prevail only after they personally take the situation into their hands while he proposes that everyone should join this revolution. When host Fay Skorda asks him if this is dangerous, Sfakianakis responds that what this new world order is doing to us the people (by impleneting such harsh austerity measures) is more dangerous (and non-comparable). He then blames Greek society for setting the groundwork for everything our country is experiencing today as well as for politically supporting incompetent leaders in positions that only hurt our nation. "Instead of placing the aris-tocracy (meaning the most competent) leaders, we appointed the most incompetent," he says. Finally Sfakianakis says that "the one" that will take Greece out of the present crisis cannot come forward as of yet because he or she does not want to take part in political system that is rigged and set up by crooked banksters and politicians. Way to go Sfakianakis!

He is no Castro, the man is well known for his extreme right wing views. No different from Jean-Marie Le Pen and this is the reason the resident fascist admires him so much. He has a good singing voice though.

he is not extreme right wing.

He is very liberal in some regards. He strongly supports the legalisation of marijuana, and has been criticised by the right wing politicians for stating on TV that he smokes marijuana and supports its legalisation.

He also criticises the Greek Orthodox Church and openly states he is an atheist.

Don't know where the Le Pen comparisons came from either, he loves Cyprus too. He loves Cyprus more than he loves Greece. He even had a huge statue of Solomos Solomou climbing a flagpole commissioned, and paid for it himself. He comes to Cyprus for concerts all the time, and has even done concerts in Cyprus for free.

He is one of the most honest and talented singers around. Too bad it bothers some that he is a patriot. It seems like anyone who loves their country, or loves their heritage, falls into the category of "FASCIST"

It is quite the insult because ironically he is from Crete and members of his family fought and died valiantly in the 1941 Battle of Crete - the famous battle where Cretan civilians became warriors and destroyed the Nazi, fascist invaders. So think twice before ignorantly branding people fascists.

In other words, S. says that idiots like Bananiot vote, support and elect other idiots like Christofias.
And look at the consequences.

Putin’s First Greek Stop: Mt. Athos

Image

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s first stop in Greece will be Mount Athos, then the island of Apocalypse, Patmos and finally the Byzantine city of Peloponnese, Mystras.

Patmos has already started the preparations to welcome him in Mid-August. He decided to visit the blessed island of the Dodecanese to make a pilgrimage to the sacred and loyal of Orthodoxy at the Monastery of Saint John the Theologian.

This pilgrimage is of particular importance, as the monastery constitutes a benchmark, a cultural and religious center, for the entire Christian world.

Putin will walk on the ground of the cave, where Jesus’ beloved disciple had the divine vision, after which he wrote the Revelation. The monks will give him a tour of the cave known as Jerusalem of the Mediterranean and then they will show him all the sacred relics and the manuscripts kept for centuries.

“Vladimir Putin’s visit will be the second visit of a head of state, after the U.S. President George Bush, who had visited Patmos in 2008 with his wife Barbara.” stated the Deputy Mayor of Patmos Ioannis Simantiris.

World’s Oldest Bear Dies in Nymfaio

By Maria Arkouli on May 31, 2013 in News
Image
On the morning of May 24, Andreas the bear-symbol of Arktouros was found dead in his den. Andreas lived at the bear sanctuary operated by Arktouros, in Nymfaio, Florina. He was the first male bear to live in the sanctuary in 1993.

This year he turned 50 years old and was the oldest bear in the sanctuary and of every wildlife sanctuary in the world.

Andreas is a bear-legend, as there is no other bear in the world recorded to have lived fifty years.
