I am looking increasingly likely to be moving to the island (family of my girlfriend), so I was wondering if there are many football teams to play for? I'm in my 30's but still fit and altho I used to play at a level.. I am only seeking local league stuff. Anybody know about that?

I also have my coaching badge, so wondering of any possibilities there. Is there a womans team in Cyprus? Could there be?

there are many local teams ,usually bigger villages(towns) have one. of course this means you will have to travel if you live in a city. i think there are 4 female football teams(amateur). i dont remember where i read it though.

Thanks SK.. I'll look into that then when I get there.

I ask about womens football because they are easier to coach. No male attitude. Just a willingness to learn.
