what should i say to cypriot women?

Postby dms007 » Tue Jul 12, 2005 12:33 pm

Hi,

Iam walking on the street or crossing the road and a really beautiful cypriot woman passes by, what should i say, that would not offend her but at the same time be naughty or something like that?

Most of the time when I try to talk to women, they either don't speak english or if they do they don't want to listen, worst they don't even smile.

If there are any cypriot women reading this......
I have read a few messages which say that cypriot women are not beautiful or they put tonnes of make up and blah blah blah and so on....
But I personally think that cypriot women are very beautiful.
I definitely love the olive skin and the long dark hair.

I'm not a Cypriot woman, so I can't advise from that angle... (where are Marina and Liza when you need them?) Probably best just to look and smile (although not in a leery way). I think if you're just walking down the street and someone walks up to you it's a bit creepy.

Don't waste your time trying to be "naughty" with a Cypriot bird.........a sense of humour is something they don't have.

Oh, and don't forget that most of them will pile it on after they've had a sprog or two.......so bang go the good looks too!

Don't listen to him dms, his opinions on Cyprus and Cypriots are rather, how do I say it nicely... misguided.

dms, Cypriot women are no different to women elsewhere, there are no hard and fast rules how to 'pull', it just happens. I know from my cousin who has a 'way with the ladies' that he puts on a certain degree of Cypriot charm, which when translated directly into english sounds goddamn sleazy, but it seems to work for him. The only advice I'd give as someone who married a Cypriot is to be yourself. If you're not yourself then someone will see straight through that.
