Coca Cola invented Santa Claus- Breaking News!

Oh please- Yahoo News must be desparate. To think that the Americans would invent some bloke to boost their sales of the soft drink. Not the good old yanks. They gave us Obama, the Nobel Peace Prize winner. Has Christmas gone too commercial? Discuss Cypriots everywhere?

The fat Santa in red and white is probably a Coca Cola invention. Our equivalent Ayios Vasilis looks like this:

its true.. google it to if you want.. butthey used to put cocainein and people would go to the barandhave shots of it not whole cnas as they do today..

well at least before cocaine became illigal as all new descoverd drugs are. but then men would sell their wifes and children to buy drugs opeam and so on..

there are some videos about it on google.

Coca Cola popularised Santa Claus in a red suit with white trim, as most people envisage him today.

This is only partly true, Google it!
