Postby maggie27 » Mon Jul 18, 2005 9:15 am

HIYA, WE ARE PLANNING ON TAKING £1000 TO OUR HOLIDAY IN CYPRUS(LIMASSOL) IN 2 WEEKS TIME, IS IT ADVISABLE TO GET THE FULL £1000 CHANGED OVER IN THE UK FIRST OR IS IT BETTER TO CHANGE A COUPLE OF HUNDRED POUNDS AND JUST GET THE REST FROM CYPRUS, ARE THE CHARGES HIGH RATE WHEN U WITHDRAW MONEY FROM AN ATM IN CYPRUS WOTS THE BEST TO DO GET IT ALL CHANGED OVER HERE FIRST OR DO IT IN CYPRUS

Best rates will be achieved through changing your currency in a Cypriot Bank.

If you withdraw money from your credit card at an ATM, best insert your arm and leg with your card, because that is what it will cost you :-(

There is usually a charge applied, best contact your local branch and check what they charge at the moment on withdrawals using debit cards abroad.

"SHOUTING" is rude. Do not use your Caps key.

I don't think it's intended devil... personally I find bad spelling (or txt spllg) more annoying than people using caps. No offence maggie.

no offence but its your age moose. because of msn messenger and text messaging its like a second language for me and people of my age.

i read an article in the Times many moons ago about a man who wrote and article about 'text language' in text language. he won an award for it. very clever idea.

very off topic but  hope mods are still asleep
