Omonia

Postby cannedmoose » Mon Jul 18, 2005 1:57 pm

Hi folks, does anyone know a good site (preferably in English) that details the history of Omonia? I'm looking particularly for information about the split that formed the club and the political reasons for it. Therefore if anyone either knows about it themself or has a link to it please let me know. If no response by this evening, I'll just phone my father-in-law and ask him since he's a big fan... trying to save a phone bill because he'll go on about it for ages...

Is that a general statement or directed? It's also not responding to the question I asked is it. Hypocrisy is a bugger Source.

So, if anyone is out there who has some valid input, I'd appreciate your response. Where's PetetheGreek? I'm sure he'd have some sense on this.

There are some sites that have the history in English but its not in depth.

http://www.omonia.net/

Try the above link. Its Omonia's official web page. I dont know how good ur Greek is but not only will you find a detailed history but also plenty of archive photos.

You may find it takes a fair bit of time to go through it all as it covers Omonia's succeses over the years, of which there have been plenty!

As for Sources comment, im sure jealousy has something to do with it!

How long does it take to go through ur clubs history? 30 secs maybe?

:D
