Cyprus is pretty much like anywhere, there are cheap places and trendy places (bit dearer).

If it's cheap beer you're after, you can find pubs that sell Carlsberg or Keo for £1 a pint. Sometimes cheaper....cheapest I saw was a place in Larnaca where it's £0.90 a pint. I'm not a beer drinker so I might be wrong.

Enjoy Paphos, nice place!

:D

It depends where on the Tombs road you are as it is quite a long road..

However there are loads of bars etc etc.....Mostly cheap as the other reply said, beer is about C£1 to C£1.50 a pint......Meals from C£4.95 for set 3 courses.

Shop around and try a few.
The centre of Paphos is very close and you can walk there. between 3kms and 1/2 kms drepends where on the road you are.

There is not much there as all the fun etc is in your area and most hotels have entertainment. The harbour is the same distances from you but the other way from a large set of traffic lights which you will soon get to know.

Any more questions just ask...

Have a good holiday

Hi, thanks for that,

I might ask a few more questions so!!!
The hotel is
King's Hotel , Thombs of the King's Road, 8064 Paphos
http://www.bookings.org/cy/hotels/kingshotel?aid=300020

its cheap and (seems) cheerful,
we land in Paphos Airport at 18:30 should we get a taxi to the hotel?

Tomb of the Kings (TOTK) has a wide range of tavernsa, bars and eateries ranging from the tacky to the superb Elysium Hotel (the only genuine 5* hotel in Paphos). For a treat go there and just have a coffee.
TOTK has a wide range of restaurants: Japanese, Indian, the excellent Artio's Brasserie (with valet parking!), the VFM unmarket Zaffron's and the hugely popular Fat Mumma's. Sorry, I seem only to know a lot about about the more expensive places - but I am not usually paying LOL!

Draft KEO/Carlsberg from £1 a pint, but generally £1.80 or so; TOTK is very touristic!
