LCA closed due to fog

Postby Gasman » Sun Mar 28, 2010 5:59 pm

Passengers left at Pafos for 5+ hours and not even offered water, all the cafes closed. No doubt some of those won't want to return to Cyprus.

Driving along Finicoudes on Friday I noticed they still hadn't cleared the thick seaweed from the beach. And the holiday season here is said to start in March with flights stepping up from then. The previous week I saw some determined tourists wading through the seaweed to go for a paddle. It was a lovely warm sunny day and none of the sunbed kiosks had opened up.

No doubt be reading about a further drop in tourist numbers next year.

all Uk air space has been closed since wednesday afternoon due to volcanic dust cloud from Icelands errupting volcano.Still shut possibly until tomorrow or longer. Not good for anyone trying to get back to the UK,France,Belgium etc.No one coming to Cyprus either so the kiosks being closed won't make any difference. What is the matter with bussiness people in Cyprus, don't they want to earn a living?

Don't understand that? Do you think the planes should fly through the ash and risk lives?
