Ciao Oracle, I don't remember where Polis is located would you tell me?
I'll rent a car in Larnaca airport anyway, wish to travel somewhere, akamas peninsula included.
I will stay in Pissouri, cannot imaging another place where spend beautiful time.

Polis is on the northern edge of the Akamas. In fact, a good way to get to the Akamas if you want some nature trails (and dramatic cliffs) is from the Baths of Aphrodite which is an easy short drive from Polis, towards Latchi.

Oh sorry Oracle, I remember now .... Polis! I made the terrible dirt road several times to get there! The first time was terrifying. Since we did not have an SUV but a simple and low nissan we got stuck under a deadly sun without water ..
I remember the other "tourists" looking at us like we were aliens overtook .. nobody stopped to ask if we need help ..
fucking tourists! ha ha ha
Then when we arrived at Polis and returned to civilization was reborn, the restaurant on the cliff near the baths of Aphrodite is beautiful and serves excellent fish!
Certainly come for a day, rent a jeep though! Do you live in Polis?
You think that May is a little early to see the nests of turtles?

Yes! Troodos ophiolite complex in Cyprus is the best for geologist !
We've done a great job there. I collect several samples from the area, useful to realize thin sections for microscope observation.
