Define 'Cypriot'.

A citizen of the Republic of Cyprus, the state which representes all Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots. Come on you know this. The reason they have the Greek anthem is because they are not tolerant of Turkish Cypriots, because they see Cyprus as Greek...like you!

Yes but in the context of a 'National Anthem', how does one define a 'Cypriot' National Anthem, the so called defacto state of the 'TRNC' uses the Turkish one, why shouldnt we use the glorious Greek national anthem?

I already told you why, because you represent the whole island remember, TRNC does not.

So what anthem would you propose to be 'more tolerant', are you in the so called TRNC tolerant of Greeks? I doubt it.

Digenis your question has one simple answer. The official languages of RoC are Greek AND Turkish, on the other hand TRNC has one official language which is Turkish. Yet you can see more Greek signs in North (in restaurants etc) than Turkish signs in South. This proves which side is more tolerant. If Greek Cypriots are tolerant, then why did they oppose the idea to make Turkish as one of the official languages of EU? We are told that we are EU citizens, but we cannot use our own language. Is this what you call tolerance?

I wish I could have engaged in a very civilised discussion with you. But with this attitude of yours, it seems impossible.
