I perhaps for a hundred times stated a thought like this. And we the TCs experienced this in real life and in this forum.

Thanks Bananiot, Alexandros, Jimmy, cannedmoose and NickP for their sincere, humane and goodheartedly behaviours towards TCs.

See, I on the other hand dont like to stereotype against groups of people. I see people as people not as TCs, GCs, Greeks as Turks. I know there are many good TCs out there but I see more negativity come from you to be able to place you in that category.

Of course I admit that I dont know much about you but only your political views and those constitute but a part of a persons character.

It's up to you to see people however you wish. You may even pretend that you see them like this or that. You have full freedom as others have. In Cyprus and in the whole world, I see people as human beings no matter which race or community they belong.

However in politics of Cyprus, I see people as TCs, GCs, rightists, leftists, ultra-nationalists and self-interest groups.

Whose was it before that ?

The land that ancient Greeks build their kingdoms in Cyprus belonged to nobody. The population of Cyprus at that time was a tiny one, just some villages existed, and not all land belonged to somebody. Later the Greeks the people that lived here before, the Phoenicians and all the others got integrated or they simply got along with each other .. all except one, those that think they are higher than all the rest and they deserve super privileges and 4.5 times more voting power than all the rest: the Turkish Cypriots.

Of course you know nothing about creating a city and creating civilization. All you know is how to grab what others created, so I wouldn't expect you to understand this.

So the whole Cyprus is our (and this "our" never excluded you, this was your conclusion) homeland either you like it or not, and the 30 years of occupation are nothing compared to our long history. Remember for how many centuries the Ottomans were occupying the whole middle east, the Balkans etc. Why they don't have those lands now? The same will happen in Cyprus, sooner or later, and there is nothing you can do about it.

We do understand well what you mean, when you say "our country".

The world has changed, the dinosours have died. We comnunicate through Cyber space, we've been to to outter space. Wars and empires have come and gone. The world map has changed hundreds of times since the ancient world, we cant turn back the clocks. Cyprus is a tiny insignifanct rock in a sea, its not the centre of the universe, or the next hellenic or turkish empire. And as for your"If we dont like we leave"? well we didnt like, and truth be told we couldnt afford to leave, because the Makarios yrs left us all penniless, and having survived those barbaric yrs we are not leaving now. In fact we are flocking back.

Oh by the way if you really want to see how we build cities, then please come and visit us in Girne, we're doing a great job. Its really nice now.
