I have a 50" Panasonic something or other, with HD satellite, Blu Ray etc

Had it for five years or so, it's on day and night whether I am watching or not! never a moment's problem.

No point in being an early adopter for 3D, prices will tumble and there are too few entertainment sources.

I keep TV (or radio) on quite a lot for 'background noise' - and it stops the puppy getting too distracted by outside noises and barking like a lunatic at them.
