Postby little_irish2007 » Tue Jun 08, 2010 10:31 am

Does anyone know what the weather is like at the moment in Cyprus?A friend told me its been really pouring down.
We live in northern ireland and after a good few weeks of sunshine its absolutely bucketing down now.I dont mind the rain at home but really counting on good weather in Cyprus while we are away.

Come on people… quit asking for things you can do yourselves!

Don’t you watch Euronews? No Internet access to search for “weather in Cyprus”?

It rained for 5 minutes last night, a little cloudy today and expecting thunderstorm tomorrow. So....... will you cancel your holiday? :)

It is even easier than that there is a weather section on the bottom of this forum !!!!! ( they help by also putting a sun on )

Wow- really over friendly on here!
I did search it but i just wanted to know from someone maybe already in cyprus, what the weather was actually like.
If its so frustrating for people asking 'stupid questions' , why bother replying.

No i wont be cancelling my holiday BUT I want to know if theres a high chance of rain on my wedding day or not!!!
Thank you so much kind people!

Over the last 10 years while I've been visiting Cyprus weather has been wonderfully predictable. I believe some locals say its like a switch is flicked on around May 10th. Over the last couple of years though its been a little less so. Strong winds and very cool at night even in late May. Even Nathan Morley on Radio Napa was having a bit of a moan! But even so, the time you'll be there should be a pretty good bet for good weather, and I wish you all the best for the wedding - I'm sure you'll love Cyprus - its Aphrodite's Island after all!!
