The game finished 2-1 for Cyprus.
During the first half Iraq was better and opened the score at 10' with Nasir. However Cyprus was much better in the second half and managed to take the lead with 2 goals from Giasemis Giasemaki at 64' and 79' score with which the game finished.

i went to the match...i have to say that the Iraqi team is really good...with players with good technique and skills.Cyprus had a very good second half...i strongly believe that we have a very good future with Aggelos Anastasiades as our coach!

thanks all, I saw the match the next day, this like a boom to us.
I raq played well in the 1st half, but in the 2nd half you played better

but i want to add some info
that our team is new team some of them played in the olypic, but 75% played there 1st International match

for exmaple our Goalkeeper and our Defender Ali Hussain "number 15" both played there 2nd International game, and some of the players played the 1st.

some of players didnt played in the right position.
for example.

Haider Abdul-Amir "number 14" he is a Side Back defenders, but the coach played him as a Middlefield-Defender.

Nashat Akram "Number 5" & Haitham Kadhem "number 19"
both Middlefield-Defenders, but the coach played Nashat as Offensive-Middlefield, and Haitham played as Side-Middlefield?.

for Mohammed Nassir he scored his 3rd goal in his 4th International match. :)

in the 2nd half our difernders did 2 stupid mistakes and you scored.
Congratulation to Cyprus.
