I think you would fail at the Permission to Purchase application. The army would probably block you and they need give no reason nor is there any appeal.

Remember, many Cypriots have UK passports but both Turkish and Greek Cypriots treat them as Cypriots, as and when it suits.

actually this creates a lot of problems for the TC"s because if they want the EU to engage in direct trade with view of membership, then they need to also collaborate with the EU which means they have to allow residents to move around freely therefore the TC's leadership has to allow all EU citizens including GC's. Which really leaves us one option and that is unity of the whole country. Its all gonna go around in a full circle lol .... this situation is like two school kids butting heads.
