Are Cypriots rude? One British friend who visited Cyprus last month said he thought Cypriots were very rude in comparison to other Mediterranean nations including Greeks and Turks. A Turkish fried from Ankara said he found Cypriots to be exceptionally rude, especially when speaking in their dialect.

Other non-Cypriots I know who have visited our country have said the opposite - pointing out that Cypriots know how to queue, unlike Greeks and Turks who all try to step into a door way at the same time.

But many fellow Cypriots I know have pointed out that through communications with non Cypriots, we are often accused of being arrogant.

What are your experiences? Would you consider Cypriots rude or ruder than our neighbours? If so, why are we like that?

Yes !!. ( and some of them can be quite offensive too) when they reach a certain age. (IMHO).
