But why on earth would you want to play Rambo in a volatile situation like that? I mean the hostage release was ALREADY negotiated ffs


Cant you understand; they were trying to prove themselves as the 'BIG BOYS' of the levant.


'74 was only 4 years old at the time and this gave them the impression that the CNG was a joke. :wink:

The CNG only had one major and two lesser battles experience.
The Egyptians fought and cleared the Suez of the Azrailis and also fought against the might of France and Britain. :lol: What a mess that was.
