This photograph, taken whilst trekking in Morocco, is my favourite. Met this shepherd boy tending his flock on a bleak plateau with little or no vegetation and he was so polite and friendly - brought out these two orphaned goat kids from under his tunic.....felt this exact same encounter could have happened to travellers hundreds if not thousands of years earlier.
