Gori Figgy... Just turn up at the court tomorrow morning with a Free Cyprus From The Turkish Occupation Tee-shirt on and all will be well ... oh and don't forget to tell them you're a regular contributor to CF .... and and give them a few of our names as referees.

im truly scared man i have never been to jail and i never planned or expect it.. they gonna eat me and sexually abuse me in jail :cry:

As others have said above get yourself down to the court first thing in the morning and just explain you got the days mixed up.

Don't mean to make you panic, but during my DUI court case a few years ago, the people who were not present at the court for their hearing were issued an 'entalma silpsis' (arrest warrant- i think). But I'm not sure if they were special cases. It is a serious matter Figs so do what GR advised you.

I very much doubt you'll do jail time. Your fine will probably be a lot more.

good luck, i went to court once, and i did not turn up the first time like you and the judge just asked why i did not go. i had an escort from the police station to go.

If you go willingly and explain the situation it'll make things a lot easier on you and I seriously doubt jail. Just a fat fine, so chin up. You're not the first and certainly not the last.

Hallo Fig head.

Drinking and driving is a very serious offence irrespective of forgetting to turn up for the Court.
Seriously, you should consider obtaining some help with the drinking problem.
