Drinking Bloody Mary's in the morning doesn't make me a Brit, just a pisshead!

Retsina is coming back in fashion in Greece after 20 years on the wane. Found a wine boutique that has a light retsina and I "have given it to understand" this summer. (Του έδωσα και κατάλαβε). And ouzo from Tyrnavos. Also because of the job (lots of grateful correspondents) there are oodles of Tsipouro, Tsikoudia, Raki, for variety.

To keep the balance there is the odd iced green tea for the free radicals and all that. No beer for this fellow, one glass and it is instant fatigue. Something metabolic I reckon.
